Concrete is used for a range of purposes including foundations, flooring and walls, with the different applications requiring different mixes (grades). At Curzon Concrete we have the ability to be very adaptable due to the versatility of out mobile batching plant.
The four basic components of concrete are: sand, gravel, cement and water. The relative quantities of these four components in addition to other materials provides many unique mixes of varying strength.
Typical concrete grades range from C10 to C40, with the load the concrete needs to take ultimately determining the grade you need. The most commonly used grades are C25, C30 and C35. We can also add fibres to the mix for added strength when required**
